Fun Panda Facts
As you color, learn a little bit about pandas too! Here are a few fun panda facts:
- Giant pandas are mainly found living in the mountain ranges of south, central China.
- Red pandas are more closely related to raccoons and skunks than to giant pandas! They are smaller and have reddish-brown fur, with a ringed tail.
- Baby pandas are born tiny - weighing about 3 to 5 ounces, which is the size of a stick of butter!
- The giant panda spends up to 16 hours a day foraging and eating bamboo, which makes up almost 99% of its diet.
Whether you’re coloring a playful baby panda or adding vibrant colors to a red panda’s fur - happy coloring!
