Printing Tips
Our Valentine’s Day card templates are a single-fold design to create a 5x5 or 5x7 inch card size. To make your card, simply print, cut around the outline, and fold down the center! To achieve a store-bought quality card, we recommend printing out your card onto quality thick paper, matte photo paper, or cardstock.
Valentine’s Day Crafts for the Whole Family
You can turn Valentine’s Day into a bonding opportunity for the whole family. Use our Valentine’s Day coloring pages as a starting point, then take on some other Valentine-related craft projects.
Craft Love Bracelets
Find some elastic string and beads from any local craft store. From there, it’s super simple to make a “love” bracelet (instead of a friendship bracelet). For Valentine’s Day, you might want to choose pink and red and white beads, as well as things like flowers, letters, and hearts, if available. You and your kids can thread these onto your elastic string in any pattern you like. When you have enough, simply tie off the ends (you may want to do this part for your kids) and you’ll have your very own Valentine’s bracelet!
Decorate Chocolate Boxes to Gift to a Friend
Kids love giving their friends presents on Valentine’s Day and other holidays. Chocolate is the perfect treat for the holiday! But you can make the gift extra special by decorating the chocolate box yourself. Maybe you’ll use glitter and stickers for this, but you could also cut out small pieces of our Valentine’s Day coloring pages and glue those on as decorations as well.

Ever wanted to learn origami? Valentine’s Day is a great time to do it. Origami hearts aren’t too tough to make. You can use red, pink, or white paper to stay on theme too. Create a Garland of Hearts
While you’re making hearts, why not make a whole garland of them? You can either use the origami hearts you folded or just cut out simple flat heart shapes from colored paper or Valentine’s Day coloring pages. Put two holes in the top (one on each side of the top of the heart) and thread the hearts onto a string to make a garland. You could write fun little phrases on them like “be mine!” to really get in the holiday spirit.
Make a Heart Out of Spare Buttons
If you have spare buttons around the house, you can use them to make your own heart art as well! (And if you don’t have spare buttons, a bag of multi-colored buttons is pretty cheap at a craft store. We recommend red or pink for this occasion). Just glue the buttons onto a piece of cardstock or other sturdy paper in a heart shape. If you need help, try tracing a heart shape first and then filling it in with buttons.
