These ladybug coloring pages are for all those kids and adults alike who've always enjoyed catching ladybugs. I always let them go, but for a brief time, it was wonderful watching these pretty ladies crawling along my hand. I still try to help out ladybugs when I find them accidentally getting inside the house, and I love seeing them in my garden. A ladybug coloring sheet lets you celebrate ladybugs in other ways! Ladybug Coloring Pages Crafts
Take your ladybug coloring page to the next level with these crafts that can make your colorful creations permanent additions to your life. These crafts are simple enough for the kids to help you with, so grab your Mod Podge and gather everyone around the table.
Make Ladybug Bookmarks
Let your ladybugs help you mark your place with a ladybug bookmark. This one is super simple. Just cut out a piece of your ladybug coloring page that’s roughly the right size for a bookmark. Attach this to cardstock to make it a bit more durable. Then hit it with Mod Podge to help keep the coloring fresh and bright. You can also punch a hole in the top and thread a tassel or ribbon through for a little extra flare.
Create Ladybug Magnets
You can easily create some ladybug magnets out of your ladybug coloring page. All you need is your coloring pages, glue, Mod Podge, and small magnets. First, color your coloring sheet. You may want to focus on a specific ladybug. That’s because you’ll be cutting out the colored part of the sheet. You can cut out a circle or square or any other shape you like. Just make sure it’s large enough that you can put a magnet on the back.
Now that you have your image, you can coat it in Mod Podge. This helps preserve it so that the paper doesn’t get beaten up too quickly. Now, simply glue your magnet onto the back of the ladybug you colored. That’s it! You have a lovely ladybug magnet you can put on the fridge.
Put Some Permanent Ladybugs in Your Garden
You can use your ladybug coloring pages in your real garden. They won’t help your plants the way real ladybugs can, but they’ll look lovely and bring a bit of fun and color to your garden. You can do this with an outdoor garden or indoor plants, though if you use it outdoors your ladybugs will probably break down a little faster because of exposure to weather.
As with the magnets craft, first pick some ladybugs you like, then color them and cut them out. You can then coat these with Mod Podge, again to help preserve them, then attach them to something like a popsicle stick. You can use them as vegetable markers (if you include a label) or simply as garden decorations.
Decorate a Calendar or Bullet Journal
If you have a family calendar or perhaps a bullet journal, ladybug coloring pages can be a great way to decorate. Simply color them and cut them out. You can glue or tape them all over your journal. Or maybe you want to put them on a calendar that the whole family uses in order to mark special occasions or times when you need to go check on your garden. We have tons of calendars you can use as a starting point, then add your ladybugs!
Flower Coloring Pages
Maybe you love flowers as much as ladybugs do, or you want to make a bouquet of coloring pages for someone in your life. Gather as many as you like from our collection of flower coloring pages!
