I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for everything pumpkin, including our pumpkin coloring pages for Thanksgiving, Halloween, and fall-themed activities! On this page, you’ll find a huge range of pumpkin images, from simple pumpkin outlines to spooky carved pumpkins and more intricately patterned designs for both big kids and adults to color in too!
Fall is by far my favorite season, and where I live it is absolutely gorgeous. If there’s one thing that screams fall in the South, it is pumpkins! Pumpkin pies, pumpkin ice creams, pumpkin cheesecakes, dried pumpkin seeds—oh and don’t even get me started on pumpkin spiced lattes (I’m a year-round addict). The very second October starts, almost every house in my neighborhood has a pumpkin theme on their front porch for Halloween. And every November, the pumpkins get replaced for a cute Thanksgiving theme!
But fall isn’t just about decorating your porch and filling yourself with pumpkin-flavored delights—it’s also about hayrides, haunted houses, harvests, and family time. If you’re looking for a relaxed way to spend those cold, rainy (or snowy!) fall days, our pumpkin coloring pages are perfect. They’re a fun, free activity, and there’s something for everyone. There’s nothing cozier than hunkering down with a warm blanket, a good movie, and some coloring to make a chilly day better!

I know I’ll be using some of these pumpkin printables as placemats.
Get Crafty with your Free Pumpkin Coloring Printables!
At a loss for what you can do with all these cute pumpkin coloring pages? Below, you’ll find a few ideas on how to use your pumpkin printables. Don’t stop with these ideas, though; get crazy and crafty with whatever your heart desires.
Door Décor for Teachers
Teachers! Are you wondering what you can do with your class of littles this fall? Look no further than our more simplistic pumpkin images. Depending on how old your class is, you may choose to cut out the design for them. However, the main goal for this activity is to allow your class to express themselves through coloring their very own pumpkin! If the class is of writing and spelling age—have them practice writing their names on their designs.
The best part about this activity is that you can choose to do this for your class during Halloween or Thanksgiving (or even both!). Although, perhaps for Thanksgiving, you could get your littles to make their own placemat.
Halloween or Thanksgiving Coloring Book
This is an activity for all ages—and one of my favorites for sure! I don’t always have the best luck with finding coloring books where I like most of the pages provided. When I get to choose the images for my own coloring book, it makes me want to sit down and color everything! Plus, these images are free, which makes them even more alluring.
For this activity, you’ll need a binder, a three-hole punch, and your choice of media (colored pencils, crayons, markers, etc.). If you’re like me, I prefer to have clear sheet protectors to place my art in after coloring; this also avoids hole punching your pages! First, arrange your coloring pages to your heart’s desire. Next, color!
For even more fun, turn your pumpkin coloring book into a storybook! This works best if you create a theme for your book, organize the pumpkin images, and then write out your story.
Create Your Own Bookmarks
If you’re making bookmarks, you’ll want thicker cardstock so that your bookmarks last longer. For this craft, we have two options! If you want a uniquely shaped bookmark, print off a smaller version of one of our printables, color, and cut out the shape of the pumpkin. Or, you can create a slim collage on a piece of cardstock, print, and color!
Because we’re making a bookmark, we’ll want to use different media than crayons (unless you plan to laminate). Try to use pens, markers, or anything non-transferable to the book pages. See if your local library or printing store can laminate pumpkin designs that you might want to use as a bookmark—or even just to save forever!
Party Décor Ideas
With party décor, the ideas are endless, but here are a few of my go-to projects! If you’re throwing a Thanksgiving dinner party, have the children color in their own placemat to keep them occupied while waiting on the feast to be served. First, print off their favorite page, have them sit where their seat will be for dinner, hand over the crayons, and watch the magic happen! If you need extra time, get them to color in placemats for their parents as well!
Make a pumpkin garland with twine and cut-out pumpkin printables. For this activity, you’ll need to print out identical and reverse images of the pumpkin printables you choose. You’ll want to reverse the image that you chose for the “front” of your garland so that the “back” aligns when you glue them on the garland together. I advise coloring your images before cutting and pasting on the twine!
Decorate your front door to welcome your guests! Make a collage of our pumpkin printables, paste them onto a posterboard, and place your magical creation on your entry door. Don’t forget to place your carved pumpkins door-side as well! If you’re looking for pumpkin stencils, try out our Pumpkin Carving Stencils page
Pumpkin Decoupage
Do you have a seasonal craft stool or table that needs some decoration? What about a favorite smooth rock that needs some love? Time to decoupage! Go to your nearest craft store and find some Mod-Podge (or decoupage agent of the like), then print off your favorite cute pumpkin images.
Once you’ve colored in your pumpkin printables, cut around your design, break out the decoupage, and begin pasting your pumpkins on your desired surface. If you’re doing a larger surface, try to create your own collage!
